When you feel unworthy on a subconscious level, you will attract things, do things, make decisions to try and create that worthiness externally. “If I have enough external validation, then I’ll be worthy.”
But that feeling of worthiness is fleeting because it’s not coming from inside of you.
So you continue to look for ways to create that worthiness in your external reality: achieve that goal, buy that thing, earn that title, climb the corporate ladder, make even more money, etc. And it does make you feel pretty good… for a little while.
But at the end of the day, it never sticks. It always just feels empty.
