I finally made peace with paying taxes.
This was something that was SO hard for me over the last decade of being a full-time entrepreneur. I just couldn’t wrap my head around it or why I had to give up so much of my hard-earned income.
When I had a day job it was no big deal. The taxes were taken out automatically so there was nothing I could do and I just got used to however much money I ended up with.
But as an entrepreneur, I was the one responsible for setting aside the taxes from all of the money I made.
Except I never did it 
There is this nuance of manifestation that I call the Thing vs. the Now Thing.
What I mean by that is… when you’re manifesting, you have two things going on: the thing you want that you know you will one day have but it isn’t something you feel ready for/ready to have yet/ready to manifest yet … it’s part of the vision, and the bigger picture but it’s a future thing.
That’s the Thing.

The ones who know they’re meant for more than the average life and refuse to settle. The ones who want to not only make a living doing what they love but also make an impact.
Those dreamers inspire me, they motivate me, they help me to believe more in my dreams and in myself. And they remind me that even against all odds, everything is possible when you believe.
Ke Huy Quan is one of those dreamers. And last night in his speech, I saw a little bit of myself in him.
