You Have to Make Peace With Where You Are While Continuing to Believe, Affirm and Step Into the Reality You Desire to Experience

A confession (that is really hard for me to confess): I’ve been in business for almost 10 years, and so far this year, I’ve made about $5k.

I’ve made a full-time income (anywhere from $33k-$82k per year) from my biz for most of those 10 years, but in January, I had a “fuck this shit” moment and decided to shut down all of the things I was doing in my business just to make money/pay the bills, and most of my income went with it.

I trust and know the money I’m used to making will return and even more of it than ever before because I’m now in alignment and doing what I know I’m meant to be doing, even if I’m not making a full-time income from it yet. (I no longer chase money, which is what I used to do.)

But to get to this place, this level of faith, this contentment within myself, it took making peace with where I’m at in this moment.

⁣⁣It took making peace with the fact that I’ve been in business for almost a decade and I’m still not where I thought I would be. It required me to unlearn so many things and relearn new things. It required a new level of emotional intelligence and commitment to myself to my soulwork and to my purpose. ⁣

You have to make peace with where you are. It’s the only way to move forward.

I wrote this in my book, F*ck the How, and wanted to share it with you:

“Making peace with where you are is often mistaken for you’re accepting less than what you want or being okay with a mediocre life, so I want to bust that myth right now. Making peace with where you are right now does not mean you won’t eventually get where you want to be. It simply means you’re no longer going to fight being where you are.

When you fight what is – “fight,” as in feel angry, frustrated, resentful, annoyed, guilty, ashamed and/or make it mean things it doesn’t mean- you create a resistant energy that blocks what you want from coming, and a low-vibe frequency that continues to attract more of what it. So you have to accept what is while continuing to believe and know and trust that something even better is coming for you. And by making yourself wrong for being wherever you are right now, you keep yourself stuck there.

To accept where you are and make peace with it, you have to deal with the negative attitudes, perspectives, and emotions you’ve been allowing yourself to live in. When you’re fighting how things are currently, you don’t feel very good and that is not the recipe for a happy life. Deal with whatever negative emotions and inner-stories are present for you around where you are in your life right now, how you got there, and where you think you should be instead. Get all of that crap out and then let it go. It’s poison to your vibration and blocks you from getting to have what you want.

You haven’t made any mistakes. Everything that happened in your life up until this point happened for you, not to you. It happened because it was necessary for your evolution and growth into who you are right now. You wouldn’t have the dreams and desires that you now have – the things you’re now so jazzed up and excited about – if it weren’t for everything you’ve been through in the past. It was all adding up to get you where you are now. Where you are right now is the perfect starting place for where you want to go and who you want to be. Give yourself permission to believe that and to make peace with wherever you are.”

If you’ve been struggling; if you feel like you’re meant to be so much further along in life/biz than you are; if you feel stuck and like nothing is working or ever going to work; if you are frustrated with what currently is, I KNOW what you’re going through. I have been there and I am there. I get it!!

AND even with “what is” right now, I know the truth: I’m gonna make it. I’m gonna be rich and successful doing what I love. I’m gonna have it all, the life of my absolute dreams.

And I will continue to believe in and affirm and step into that reality until it shows up in my physical life.

You’ve got this. Keep going. Trust in yourself. You’re going to make it.
